Apply for the Levington, Evergreen Garden Care Scholarship if you are studying Horticulture or a closely related subject where you have a particular interest in what makes plants grow and getting to the very root of the important commercial issues involved in plant production for the ornamental horticultural industry.
Levington Research Station was established in 1957, near Ipswich in Suffolk, where its name quickly became synonymous as a leading Horticultural Research Centre focusing on fertilisers and growing media and is, of course, home of the Levington composts, a brand still used today. Now in the ownership of Evergreen Garden Care the centre is still at the leading edge of their innovative range of garden care products, known to millions of domestic gardeners in the UK under the banners of Miracle-Gro, Levington, Tomorite, and many other brands catering for your every gardening need.
Ideally you will have completed the first year of your studies and will be in the 2nd or 3rd year of completing your qualification. In addition to your financial award, this scholarship, offers the opportunity of one week of work experience at the Levington Research Station. During this placement, you’ll work alongside Evergreen Garden Care’s expert team on real-world horticultural trials for both UK and European markets — an exciting chance to apply your studies, gain industry insight, and contribute to innovation in plant science and production.

Up to £1,500 per candidate, plus a weeks work experience based at the Levington Research Station.
